General Description

The U.S. History books are used for Cycle 3. Covering the nine IEW units, this course integrates writing, grammar, and vocabulary into early U.S. History studies. Students develop their skill with the Structure and Style Writing Method™ while learning about interesting, important people and events in U.S. history from the explorers to the twentieth century.

The Teacher’s Manual contains ideas for teaching, sample whiteboards, quizzes, and answer keys. The Student Book contains assignment instructions, source texts, blank outlines, checklists, sample compositions, and vocabulary cards. Grammar helps are provided for two levels of students, elementary and junior high. The complimentary Student Resource Notebook e-book is a necessary component for this resource.
