Shipping and Return Policy

Classical Conversations occasionally offers coupon and promotional discount codes to bookstore customers. To ensure these offers are applied fairly and consistently, the following terms apply to all coupon and discount codes:

• One coupon per order. Only one coupon or discount code may be applied to an order at a time. Coupon codes cannot be combined or stacked with one another.

• IEW products are excluded. Coupon and discount codes do not apply to IEW products. IEW products are not eligible for any percentage discount and are not counted toward minimum order thresholds required to unlock a coupon or promotional offer.[1]

• Excluded products and services. Coupon and discount codes cannot be applied to Concurrent Enrollment courses, Classical Learning Cohort (CLC) registrations, or gift certificates.

• Member discounts. The 15% member discount on Classical Conversations MultiMedia products and other standing member benefits are applied automatically and are governed by the Member Pricing and Discounts terms above. Coupon and Discount Codes can be used on items where member pricing has been applied.

• Returns on discounted orders. If your order qualified for a coupon or discount, any refund will reflect the discounted purchase price of the item(s). Please see Group Orders & Discounts for additional details.

Unless otherwise stated, coupon and discount codes are valid only during the specified promotional period and may not be applied retroactively to previous orders.

Every order requires processing. In addition to shipping times, expect a minimum 3-5 business day processing time.

• Customer Pickup is available at 255 Air Tool Dr #2164, Southern Pines, NC 28387. If the shipping address zip code is between 27242 and 28394, order pick-up is available at the CC main office and warehouse. If you select customer pickup as your shipping option, please wait for an email stating your order is ready for pickup before driving to the CC office.

• Priority Mail via the US Postal Service. This shipping method requires a mailing address (street or post office box). Priority Mail does not qualify for free shipping unless the package is shipping to a military base or diplomatic location. With Priority Mail via the US Postal Service, expect 3-5 business days for shipping in addition to the standard order processing time.

• 3-5 Day Shipping. With this shipping option, expect 3-5 business days for shipping in addition to the standard order processing time for domestic addresses. The shipping rate charged will be the actual rate from the carrier, based on the distance from our warehouse in Southern Pines, NC, and the weight of the order.

• 5-8 Day Shipping. With this shipping option, expect 5–8 business days for shipping in addition to the standard order processing time for domestic addresses. The rate charged will be the actual rate from the carrier, based on the distance from our warehouse in Southern Pines, NC, and the weight of the order. 5-8 Day Shipping is FREE for online orders totaling $250 of shippable items.[3][4] Free shipping may only apply when 5-8 Day Shipping is chosen and the product order is $250 or more, excluding IEW products, or a free shipping coupon code or sale is applied.

• UPS Overnight and Second Day Air Shipping. Overnight orders are expected at your designation one day after the order leaves our warehouse. Second-Day Air orders are expected to arrive two days after they leave our warehouse. UPS does not consider Saturday or Sunday in the calculation of “two days” or “overnight,” nor do they consider the day it leaves our warehouse as a traveling day for Second Day Air. Choosing UPS Second Day Air or Overnight Shipping does not guarantee the order will go to the Shipping Department the same day it is placed. Orders placed before 3:00 PM ET will be processed the same day, and orders placed after 3:00 PM ET will be processed the following business day.

All international orders will be put on hold by Order Processing for one business day before releasing for processing and shipment.

Once the order has left the warehouse, any cancellation or return shipping costs for the following reasons are the responsibility of the customer:

1. Customer has changed their mind for personal reasons
2. Customer cancels due to their country’s customs fees/taxes
3. Product is put on sale, reduced in cost, or free shipping becomes available
4. Any other reason that we do not have control over

If a product is damaged in shipping, please contact Customer Care within 90 days to determine next steps.

Backorders will ship within 10 business days of those products arriving via 5-8 day shipping. Back orders are not offered for international orders.

Returns of approved Classical Conversations products may be made within 90 days of purchase for a full refund plus any applicable sales tax. Books and merchandise must be returned in new, unused, and unmarked condition. Shipping costs are not reimbursed.

Items that cannot be returned or exchanged

• Downloadable items such as MP3s, PDFs, e-Books, and iTunes apps.
• Opened CDs, DVDs, and tin whistles
• Products marked close-out, clearance, discontinued, or “While Supplies Last”
• Missing or partial items from combos or sets

All returns will need a Return Authorization Number to process.

A representative will send return instructions and a Return Information Form to include in your package. Please follow the instructions from Customer Care to ensure a successful return.

Group Orders & Discounts

If you return an item from a group order, please include the name of the person who placed the order in the Return Information Form notes section. All refunds will be issued to the original purchaser of the order.

If your order qualified for a discount, refunds would reflect the discounted purchase price of the items(s) on the order.

We do our best to ensure all our packages and materials arrive in good condition. Despite our best efforts, sometimes materials can arrive damaged or defective. Upon receiving them, we recommend you review your packages and materials and email Customer Care at customercare@classicalconversations.com within 90 days of your purchase if your items are damaged or defective.

To cancel an order, please contact us immediately after it is placed. However, to keep our order processing streamlined, we cannot guarantee that your order can be canceled. Our warehouse processes orders and ships them to you as quickly as possible.

During our business hours, you may contact us by e-mail at customercare@classicalconversations.com (receives higher priority) or by phone at 910-684-5665. If we are unable to cancel your order, please use our return instructions to return any unwanted items (exclusions and restrictions may apply).

We cannot adjust orders once they are submitted for processing to provide the quickest service. Please double-check your order for the correct quantity, items, mailing address, and contact information before submitting it. Please email Customer Care at customercare@classicalconversations.com and include the name and order number of the order.

Occasionally packages do not arrive to their intended destination as planned. Customer Care will assist as able.

Damaged Customer Returns: We will contact you via email or phone to let you know the condition in which we received the package and discuss return or refund options. If your package is insured, please let us know so we can provide information for a claim.

Lost Returns: We recommend contacting the shipping provider that sent the package to us.

Returned to Sender: Should your package come back to us Return to Sender, we will need to collect postage due fees before we can reship the package. If you no longer need the package, these fees will be deducted from the refund, if applicable.

Return Process Time

Returns are processed in the order they are received. Please allow 1-2 weeks to enter and process your return refunds. During July through October, please allow ample processing time. You will receive an email once your return is processed and your refund credit is complete.

Customers who purchase Concurrent Enrollment courses through the Classical Conversations Bookstore may be eligible for a refund under the following conditions:

Option 1: Did Not Register with SEU

If you purchased a Concurrent Enrollment course but did not complete registration with Southeastern University (SEU), you may request a refund by contacting our Customer Care team before the semester drop date. Refund requests must be submitted prior to this deadline to be considered.

To request a refund, please email CustomerCare@ClassicalConversations.com with your order number and state that you did not register with SEU.

Option 2: Registered and Subsequently Dropped the Course with SEU

If you purchased a Concurrent Enrollment course, completed registration with SEU, and then officially dropped the course through SEU, your refund will be processed automatically. Classical Conversations will download drop data from SEU after the semester drop date and process refunds for eligible purchases within one month of the drop date.

No action is required on your part — refunds will be automatically issued to your original payment method.

Important Notes

• All refund requests for Option 1 must be submitted before the semester drop date.
• Refunds under Option 2 are contingent upon official drop confirmation from SEU.
• Processing times may vary but will not exceed one month from the drop date.
• For questions about your refund status, please contact our customer service team at CustomerCare@ClassicalConversations.com.

Online Cohort Refund: Members may receive a full refund if requested within 24 hours after the first class meeting. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to Cohorts@ClassicalConversations.com.

In Person Cohort Refund Policy: The registration fee for in-person is non-refundable. If a member can no longer attend the cohort, members may arrange for a local replacement to assume their enrollment for the remainder of the cohort. Any financial arrangements between the withdrawing member and their replacement should be handled privately between the two parties.

Processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 10-14 business days of the refund request.
