General Description

Billy Colman is just a poor country boy with a heart of determination and a longing for some hunting dogs. After years of saving his money, Billy buys a pair of coonhounds and begins the process of training and befriending the dogs. The dogs lead Billy into a variety of adventures, some empowering, some sobering. In the end, Billy is a stronger, wiser young man who better understands what it means to love others.
