CASSELL'S LATIN DICTIONARY
Invaluable resource for Latin translation exercises
Since its first appearance in 1854 and through many subsequent revisions, Cassell’s Latin Dictionary has remained constant in its appeal to scholars. In 1977, the head of the Classical Department at Eton College, D. P. Simpson, revised the original dictionary and introduced fresh material from a number of sources. This useful dictionary is widely considered the best of its kind.
